Shauna Lubrani competed at the 2025 CrossFit Games, finishing 15th in the world in Women 55-59. She's stood on the NPC Figure stage. She's not reading from a textbook — she's coaching from experience. Personal training in Pembroke Pines for people who are serious about changing.
Most trainers have done one thing. Shauna has done two of the hardest things in fitness — stepped on the NPC Figure stage and competed at the CrossFit Games, finishing 15th in the world. She understands your body from every angle: how to build it, how to lean it out, and how to make it perform.
4,362nd → 24th in the world. That's what 10 years of not quitting looks like.
Shauna grew up in Salt Lake City, competing in volleyball, softball, and track through high school. That competitive instinct never left — it just found new arenas.
She stepped onto the NPC Figure stage for the first time and kept coming back. In 2012, nine months after giving birth to her daughter Alexi at age 42, she placed 2nd at the NPC Western Regional Championships. That's not a footnote. That's who Shauna is.
Then CrossFit happened. What started as cross-training turned into a decade-long grind. She entered her first CrossFit Open in 2017 ranked 4,362nd in the world. She never stopped competing. In 2022 she made it to Semifinals, sitting in 15th place with 30 seconds left in the final workout — one step from the CrossFit Games — when she tore her ACL and MCL. The season was over in an instant.
She came back anyway. By 2025 she'd climbed to #24 in the world at the Open and qualified for the CrossFit Games, where she finished 15th. In 2026 she returned to Semifinals and finished 26th worldwide. That's not luck. That's thousands of hours of work she chose to do after every reason to quit.
Her son Kavin was a Freshman All-American at Oregon State, played four years of college baseball, and was drafted by the Mariners. Her daughter Alexi plays competitive travel volleyball and is heading into high school this fall. Competition runs in this family.

In 2022, Shauna tore her ACL and MCL with 30 seconds left in the final Semifinals workout — while sitting in 15th place, one step from the CrossFit Games. She rehabbed. She came back. She reached #24 in the world. When you want to stop, she already knows you have more — because she's been at a wall most people never even reach.
Aesthetics and performance are usually taught separately. Shauna has mastered both — so whether your goal is how you look, what you can do, or both, she knows exactly how to get you there.
This isn't a chain gym and Shauna isn't running 40 clients through a template. PhitFreaks is small on purpose — so the coaching is actually personal.

Working with Shauna has been one of the best investments I've made in my health and fitness. From day one, she took the time to understand my goals, fitness level, and any limitations I had, then built a program that was both challenging and achievable. What sets Shauna apart is her ability to motivate without being overbearing. She knows when to push you beyond your comfort zone and when to adjust workouts to keep you progressing safely. Every session is well planned, engaging, and focused on proper form, which has helped me become stronger, more confident, and avoid injuries. Beyond the workouts, Shauna genuinely cares about her clients' success. She's encouraging, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer questions or provide guidance on nutrition, recovery, and building healthy habits outside the gym. If you're looking for a personal trainer who is professional, supportive, and committed to helping you reach your goals, I highly recommend Shauna.
